昨年オープンしたばかりのDUDD/ダッドですが、YEANAYの神戸店（仮称）が夏にオープンするにあたり、3月末で休業・閉店することにしました。

DUDD/ダッドは定期的な入荷がなく、流通が不安定なDDUD/ディーディーユーディーというブランドの店舗としての展開は、なかなか難しいものだと非常に勉強になりました。DDUDはあり方自体に変化が見えつつあるので、それに対応しやすい環境を求めて一旦YEANAY各店に戻ります。大阪での取り扱いはYEANAY大阪店に、また、現在扱いのない渋谷店と新店である神戸店にも並ぶ予定なので、YEANAY全店での取り扱いになります。

3月閉店ではありますが、4月上旬にはDDUDのPhase3のお披露目も行う準備を進めており、別の形で延長戦も予定しています。

その後、DUDD/ダッドは弊社ヴィンテージ時計部門の古拙時計へと生まれ変わります。すでに7年くらい活動している古拙時計の初めての実店舗になります。4月後半に少しリニューアルして4月29日からオープン予定です。

ただ、DUDD/ダッド自体の形態は諦めたわけではなく、現在倉庫として使用中の靱本町のToiで将来的に再開したいと思っています。DUDD/ダッドとしてまたお会いできる日を楽しみにしています。

DUDD / Dudd opened just last year, but with the upcoming opening of the YEANAY Kobe store (tentative name) this summer, we have decided to close the shop at the end of March.

Operating a store dedicated to DDUD—a brand whose distribution is irregular and whose product arrivals are not scheduled—has been a valuable learning experience for us. As DDUD itself seems to be entering a period of change, we have decided to return the brand to the YEANAY stores for the time being, where we can respond more flexibly to those changes.

Going forward, the brand will be available at YEANAY Osaka, which will continue handling it in Osaka, and it will also be introduced at YEANAY Shibuya and the new Kobe store. In other words, DDUD will be available at all YEANAY locations.

Although DUDD will close in March, we are currently preparing to present DDUD Phase 3 in early April, and we plan to continue the story in a different form.

After that, the space will be reborn as Kosetsu Watch, our company’s vintage watch division. Kosetsu Watch has been active for about seven years, and this will be its very first physical store. The space will undergo a small renovation and is scheduled to reopen on April 29.

However, we have not given up on the concept of DUDD itself. In the future, we hope to reopen it at Toi in Utsubo-Hommachi, which is currently being used as a warehouse. We look forward to the day we can welcome you again as DUDD.

YEANAYやNO CONTROL AIR・FIRMUMを運営している株式会社neuthingsです。 3月8日土曜日に大阪・桜川の本社アトリエの近くに新しいお店ができます。名前は「DUDD」といいます。 どこかで聞いたことあるような、どこか間違っているような名前ですね。「DUDD」と書いて「ダッド」と読みます。こちらは弊社が昨年2月から展開を始めている新レーベル「DDUD・ディーディーユーディー」の店舗となります。名前は「DDUD」を書き間違って「DUDD」となりました。深い意味はありません。 場所は大阪メトロと阪神電車の桜川駅の真上の新桜川ビルという築70年近いの古いビルの2階205号室です。お隣はお世話になっている桜川の名店SANさんです。最高です。新店の「DUDD/ダッド」では「DDUD」の洋服と共に約20杯ほどの抽斗を用意します。そこにデザイナーがセレクトした古物や時計を並べます。YEANAYで扱っているものとは異なる内容です。弊社のアトリエから徒歩3分の場所のとても小さな空間です。デザイナーの茶々が入りやすいと思われるのでとても濃い空間になると思います。

3月8・9日はDDUD PHASE_2の新作発表となります。アポイントメントは必要ありません。DUDDの通常営業は3月14日金曜日からです。営業日はインスタグラムでご確認をお願いいたします。

開店前日の3月7日金曜日の18時から21時頃まで内覧会を行います。どなたでもご来場いただけます。デザイナーやアトリエスタッフもいますのでちょっとしたドリンクも用意してお待ちしております。ぜひお出かけください。

This is neuthings inc, the company that operates YEANAY, NO CONTROL AIR, and FIRMUM. On Saturday, March 8th, we will be opening a new store is close from our headquarters and atelier in Sakuragawa, Osaka. The name of the store is “DUDD.” It’s a name that might sound familiar, yet slightly off. “DUDD” is written as it sounds, but it’s pronounced “DAD.” This is a store for our new label, “DDUD” which we began introducing in February last year. The name was mistakenly written as “DUDD” instead of “DDUD,” but there’s no deeper meaning behind it.
The location is on the second floor, Room 205, of the Shin-Sakuragawa Building, a nearly 70years old building. Directly above the Sakuragawa Station on the Osaka Metro and Hanshin Railway. Neighbor is the renowned and beloved  diner, SAN, in Sakuragawa. It’s a great.At our new store DUDD, alongside the clothing from “DDUD,” we have around 20 drawers on display. These will contain antique items and watches selected by the designer. The content will be different from what we offer at YEANAY. It’s a very small space, just a 3minute by a walk from our atelier.It will become a playground and an experimental space for the designer.It’s going to be a very rich and engaging space.

March 8th and 9th will be the new release announcement for DDUD PHASE_2. Appointments are not required. DDUD’s regular business operations will begin on Friday, March 14th. Please check Instagram for open days.

There will be a preview event on Friday, March 7th, the day before the opening, from 6:00 PM to around 9:00 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend. Designers and atelier staff will be present, and we’ll have some light drinks ready for you. We look forward to your visit.
